What is VCD?

To Join VCD files, please download
Open Video Joiner. You
can use the video joiner as VCD Joiner, VCD
Merger, VCD Combiner to join vcd, merge vcd, or combine vcd
files.
Decoder requirements:
If the files are VCD1.0, It is not necessary to install any
additional VCD decoder. If the files is VCD1.1 or 2.0, please
install the a dvd player such as WinDVD or PowerDVD Player for
the VCD decoder.
Encoder
requirements: avi encoder such as DivX codec or XviD codec.

How to join vcd
files:
1. Click
the Add Video button.
After you insert the VCD into
the CD/DVD drive, you will find the directory named MPEGAV in
the VCD. In the directory, there are some VCD files named
AVSEQ01.DAT, AVSEQ02.DAT or MUSIC01.DAT, MUSIC02.DAT etc. Then
open vcd files in the program.
2. Click
the Options button to change the output file name, frame rate,
frame size, resize mode, audio compressor or video compressor.
To change
each transition and the transition duration, click the
Transition button or rightclick a vcd in the list.
You may
start to merge/combine/join vcd files directly without any
configuration.
To view
each VCD file, doubleclick a VCD file in the list, Window
Media Player will play it automatically.
To preview
the transition effect and the output VCD sequence, click the
Preview button. The duration of each VCD is limited in 10
seconds for your preview the output quickly.
3. At last
click the Join button to join VCD files.
